The Soweto Hotel on Freedom Square is located at the historic national heritage site called the Walter Sisulu Square of Dedication - named after the famous liberation icon: Walter Sisulu. This is the location where the Freedom Charter was signed on June 26, 1955, which is a document that was later on adopted as the founding document of the South African Constitution.

Accommodation at The Soweto Hotel:

The hotel has 46 Deluxe Standard Rooms and 2 Presidential Suites. Inter-leading rooms are available for families and groups. Rooms are equipped with televisions (with a broad bouquet of local and international channels), coffee/tea making facilities, wireless connectivity, hairdryers and in-room safes. Room service, laundry and dry-cleaning services are also available.

There are two boardrooms in the hotel seating eight and 14 guests each and fully equipped with AV equipment. Conferencing packages are available on request for meetings and conferences of 20 - over 2000 delegates catered for within the Square's Conference facilities adjacent to The Soweto Hotel on Freedom Square.
