Soweto 'An Amazing Race'
Incorporate Soweto Tours With Your End-Year Functions

Experience this fantastic team-building event as you and your colleague’s race around Soweto, accomplishing specific tasks.  

Soweto TourEach race can be personalised, to include the very best of Soweto.

Here’s how it works:
The participants are divided into groups, and squeezed into Soweto.co.za taxi’s with a tour guide.
Groups must work together and follow the clues to their next destinations.
Once at a destination, tasks must be done, to receive the next clue.

The race duration is usually from 09h30 to 13h00 finishing at the lunch venue. After lunch we then take the groups are taken to the well known venue “The Rock”, where prize giving takes place on the roof with great views of Soweto. Here the groups usually relax and socialise at the Rock, departing around 16h30.  

This event is designed to be challenging but most importantly - Lots of Fun!!

Pricing is dependent on numbers, so send us you group profile and we will put a quotation together for you. Remember dates over year-end (particularly on Fridays) are booking up fast - so get in now to avoid disappointment!!!

Soweto TourAn Amazing race could go something like this:

  • Transport throughout in local minibus taxis – pick up and drop off at  your offices

  • A Soweto guide per vehicle/ team   

  •  Facilitators on the ground at each venue (Clues will lead the teams to +/- 12 venues of significance depicting Soweto's history as well as culture and way of life)  

  • Invitation style clues leading to each destination

  • A reward / activity / community donation at each destination

  • Entertainment by a Gumboot dance and drum group (This will be incorporated at one of the destinations as well and will involve interactive participation with the teams)

  • Soweto.co.za team on the ground ensuring all is in place and runs smoothly at the destinations

  • Soweto Tour

    Various surprises & prizes throughout the day - as well as a Branded Calabash Trophy for the winning team!  - Please provide logo and what you would like written on the trophy (eg Vodacom Sales - Amazing Race Winners 2007) 

  • Full buffet lunch (incl. service and dessert) 

  • Drinks en-route during the race and at a local shebeen (compulsory stop during the race).
